Congratulations, ladies! Please contact Cindy Woodsmall with your name and mailing address to claim your book.
I’m reading the type set pages of The Winnowing Season (looking for any elusive typos before it goes to print), and I think readers are going to fall deeper in love with Rhoda, Jacob, and Samuel! I’ve already heard from a few professional reviewers who’ve loved it, and their comments have made me one happy writer! The Winnowing Season will release April 2. For a chance to win one of three copies (Copies will be mailed as soon as it’s available in book form vs. manuscript form), please leave a comment below or hop over to my Facebook fan page and leave a comment there: Cindy Woodsmall’s Facebook fan page.
The winners will be chosen using Random.org and announced on my Facebook page on Monday, January 21, 2013.
Facebook’s policy says that if I post a giveaway on Facebook, I must give you more than one option of where to leave a comment or they could shut down my page. So if you’d like to participate in this giveaway and would rather not leave a comment on my Facebook page, you are welcome to leave one below. However you wish to participate, I welcome your comment. As always, please remember to only comment either on Facebook or below and not on both. Thanks!
The tornado that devastated Kings’ Orchard pushed Rhoda, Samuel, and Jacob to make a new start in Maine. Are they strong enough to withstand the challenges of establishing an Amish community—and brave enough to face the secrets that move with them?
On the eve of their departure to begin a new Old Order Amish community outside of Unity, Maine, Rhoda Byler is shocked to discover that choices made by her business partner and friend, Samuel King, have placed her and her unusual gifts directly into the path of her district’s bishop and preachers. She is furious with Samuel and is fearful that the Kings will be influenced by the way her leaders see her, and not what they know to be true—that Rhoda’s intuition is a gift from God.
Jacob King won’t be swayed by community speculation. He loves Rhoda, believes in her, and wants to build a future with her in Maine. But when the ghosts of his past come calling and require him to fulfill a great debt, can he shake their hold before it destroys what he has with Rhoda? Samuel has a secret of his own—one he’ll go to great lengths to keep hidden, even if it means alienating those closest to him. Throwing himself into rehabilitating the once-abandoned orchard, Samuel turns to a surprising new ally.
Book 2 of the Amish Vines and Orchards series asks: can the three faithfully follow God’s leading and build a new home and orchard in Maine? Or will this new beginning lead to more ruin and heartbreak?

How Reader Friend of the Month Works:
Beginning in January of 2013, I’m adjusting the way my Facebook giveaways will work. Please read the guidelines below to learn about the new changes.
Each month I give away something special, often an autographed copy of one of my books, sometimes a gift card or an Amish-made wall hanging, etc.
I will post an announcement letting you know that the giveaway for the month has begun. If you’d like to participate, simply leave a comment below or go to my Facebook fan page.
That’s all it takes to automatically be included for a chance to receive/”win” the giveaway for that week.
The Friday after the giveaway is announced, a winner will be chosen using Random.org, and the winner’s name will be posted on Facebook.
If your name is announced on my Facebook page, please send your postal address to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you feel unsure about sending your private information through an email, please feel free to contact me through my website: https://www.cindywoodsmall.com/about-cindy/contact/.
Recipients will have three weeks to claim their prize, and after you’ve sent your address, please allow me three to four weeks to get it shipped :-)!
Because of international laws that regulate (and make difficult) contests and giveaways, I can offer this only to residents in the US.
These giveaways are in no way connected to or sponsored by Facebook. If you have any questions, please contact me at email@example.com.
