Christmas in Apple Ridge is a three-in-one collection that includes The Sound of Sleigh Bells, The Christmas Singing, and an all-new story, The Dawn of Christmas.

A note about buying The Dawn of Christmas separately:
Those who already own books one and two in the three-in-one book have asked if they can buy the The Dawn of Christmas separately. Although the answer is no, I think I have good news for you in the final paragraph found below.
Here’s what happened. My publisher said they were going to combine the two past Christmas novellas into one book to create an omnibus. My first thought was for my readers, and I wanted to give them something new to go with the first two books. So I asked my publisher if I could I write a new story for you. They agreed, and even juggled my writing schedule so I could get it written. I can’t tell you how much I love this new story! It even sparked an outline for an entire novel using two characters from The Dawn of Christmas.
It wasn’t until later I realized that everyone who had bought the first two books wouldn’t be able to get that third story unless they bought the omnibus.
So I returned to my publisher to see what could be done, and this is what they have worked out: if you own an e-reader, you can purchase the three-in-one for $9.99. If you want the actual softcover book, you can find it for less than you paid for the hardback novellas. For example Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Books-A-Million have the three-in-one book (Christmas in Apple Ridge) for $10.98! And Christian Book Distributors has it for $10.99!

My Grandmother, as a historian and librarian here in Coastal Maine – would have asked, wanted more than anything to read this Trilogy. Her choice in books was those that historical – and………………. dealt with women, especially women that were considered ‘Pioneer’s”.
Midwives, women crossing country on trail………. those that left footsteps, I have spent much time with the Amish raising Draft horses, and their culture here in the United States and Canada – is hard for many to understand. I try to always think of as way my Scots family felt to land on shore here in early 1900′s.
I haven’t read any of your books. But I went out of my way to make sure I sent a copy of Texas Women to my Grandmother before she passed.
I want to read this trilogy -whether there chance I win or not, just because I understand what it like to have a young Amish girl stare at me – that I wear makeup……. my hair down, and PANTS. And - have seen the look of disapproval on her father’s face she fascinated by. I am going to bookmark this page – that I don’t lose.
I understand that the Amish have rules – what they choose, try to keep as they did leaving to be here. In the United States and Canada. No – I do not agree with how the women accept…………….. but – it not my place to, they born into – and each child is given option to leave.
I will never forget being in Hotel in St. Louis, and watching National news, the loss of Amish school children in PA. My heart broke.

I can’t wait to read the next novel! My dream is to visit an Amish family, but I know this is few and far between. I have a very good Mennonite friend I met at a bakery in North Alabama. I began to ask some questions and we just “hit it off”. We have visited and met her family and she has invited us back for a home-cooked meal. I’m so excited. She and her family are precious. I love these books so much. I had been laid up from kidney transplant and started reading them and now I am adicted to these good family style books. I am making myself a library of all I can read. Told the family this is what I want for Christmas. Read to keep your mind alert and to go to a place where no one can reach you for a while in another land. I would love to win this book naturally.
